{Matters of the Heart}: Meet Gregory

Happy Friday Everyone! 

Today I'd like to introduce you to Gregory.  He is the darling son of one of my very best friends.  He was born with Galactosemia ~ a rare metabolic disease, meaning he lacks the enzyme in his body to break down the sugar, galactose. Galactose is mainly found in ALL dairy products and other things as well.

I couldn't be more proud of my friend Melissa, who has truly embraced Galactosemia and has spent countless hours better educating herself to provide her son with the healthiest and best life possible.  In doing so, she has taken it upon herself educate others on Galactosemia.
